A beautiful and unusual monochromatic...first, the backstory...I bought an old Currier & Ives print at a thrift store and when I opened it I found an old newspaper dated 1919 and this incredible old cardboard âNYâ backing. I used the backing for this painting. Itâs framed under glass due to itâs fragility. Featuring none other than âBill the Butcherâ of NYCâs Five Points.
